Exploring the Quantum Realm on Yes, and Marketing
What happens when a first-time founder in his 40s dives into quantum computing after a successful corporate career?
I recently joined Steve Pockross on the Yes, and Marketing podcast to have a conversation about founding a company after a corporate career, and along the way we spent a bit of time talking about quantum computing, Quantum Rings, and why we are so bullish on our ability to help researchers, developers, and enterprises start to gain traction in quantum computing now. Most importantly, we explore the very human side of building a startup in deep tech.
The conversation covered a lot of ground, including:
Why quantum computing is so exciting, and is drawing so much attention.
Why quantum computing still feels inaccessible, and what we’re doing to change that
What it’s like to be a first-time founder later in life, and the mental tools that help (spoiler: meditation made the list)
Our goal with Quantum Rings is to make quantum computing more accessible—for researchers, developers, and eventually, entire industries, to enable everyone to start to benefit from the powerful applications that quantum computing promises to unlock.
This podcast is a glimpse into how we’re thinking about that challenge, and what’s next.
